To serve the Chinese market, the Staubli Group set up its first Asian manufacturing facility in Hangzhou, China with the founding of Stäubli (Hangzhou) Mechatronic Co., Ltd. back in 1997. Further offices are located in Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou and Wuhan. Stäubli Hong Kong serves several markets throughout Asia.

Stäubli was founded in 1892 and is today a mechatronics solution provider with three dedicated divisions: textile machinery, connectors and robotics. With a workforce of 3000, Stäubli has a presence in 25 countries and agents in 50 countries around the world.
